This restaurant truly deserves 5 stars. From the moment we walked till the moment were left, we had been treated with such class. Our server, Carlos Alfredo, was a true gentleman and was quite knowledgeable of the menu and provided excellent recommendations. You can sit inside or outdoors with a fantastic beachfront view. Price was what we anticipated and not overly costly. We’ll definitely be returning to Tora Mexico in the not too distant future.
Tora is an incredibly lively atmosphere with attentive staff. We ate from the lagoon and attempted some dishes (i.e., hot beef skewers, gyoza, tuna pizza, spicy tuna roll, and Cosmo roll)… probably the best sushi ever. The team, especially, JULIO CESAR, made our dining experience pleasurable. He made some excellent recommendations. We have been to numerous Japanese restaurants, and this one does not disappoint.
We had an ideal seat on the terrace overlooking the lagoon. Poncho and the team were excellent and very attentive throughout the entire dining adventures. The food was phenomenal! They made a special avocado sushi roll for my 7-year-old in her petition. At the close of the evening, one of the managers surprised our kids with (complimentary!). Chocolate mousse cakes using a decorating kit (icing piping bag, candy, marshmallows, and fruit).
Our dinner in Tora was a great beginning to our vacation. I must state that we eat diverse cuisines all of the time and not every high-end restaurant is friendly to kids. Tora has been the perfect balance of sophistication, impeccable cuisine, and refinement while still being family friendly. The waiter talked to us about cozumel discover scuba activities for beginners. Sounds interesting for me.
We loved this restaurant! Coming from Chicago, we had been skeptical about how it could resist the great restaurants we all reside, but that place really shines. Our waiter Andres was super attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is gorgeous.
The taco pizza app was super delicious, and the geisha crystal ball cocktail was exceptional. We purchased the scallops, short ribs, and mushroom rice. Everything was yummy.
We ate at Tora our very first night in Cancun last week, and we were not disappointed. Stunning setting on the lagoon side with great sunset views. The specialty beverages were somewhat unique, and the sushi was among the finest We’ve ever had. Salmon two ways were unusual and higher-end beef if that is what you are looking for. Desert was a spectacular ending!! Mary and ? Provided great support. We will return to the next trip.
