We love returning to Suites — a prime location for everything and the view in. The morning is breathtaking!! The beds are comfy, and the rooms are spacious. The customer service has always been hot and welcoming but this trip we met Daniel at the front desk, and he put us back in our favorite room and for us that is very important with our stay. Thank you again, Daniel, for your help and willingness to go above to put a smile on our faces!! Thank you again Suites Bahia for a great stay!
I spent three nights at this hotel on January 19-22, 2019. I traveled with my Divemaster buddy, and we had separate rooms. My room was 38. It was spacious with a seating area, king bed, photo shelves with electricity. This was convenient for charging and setting up. The room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning.
The room had two balconies for relaxing with two plastic chairs. One balcony faced the ocean, and the other also had an ocean view but faced the Chi restaurant and Cougar Bar. Be aware that Saturday night there was a live band at the Cougar that played until midnight. So you may want to take a sleeping aid to get to bed before then, or sit out on the balcony and enjoy the show.
Free breakfast was provided by the Casa Mexicana a short walk down the street. Aldora divers were on the next road and very convenient. Restaurant abounds in this area. We settled on a taco restaurant a few blocks inland and easy walking distance. A great dinner of tacos, and beans with a beer was less than $7 US including tip. Less for a satisfying taco only dinner. So no reason to go hungry. The hotel has an elevator and stairs for choice. Very well maintained, with helpful staff with their amazing cozumel flyboard suggestions. When I return to Coz, this will be my go-to place.
All depends on the room you choose. Mine was a 10 I wanted from personal viewing the year prior. Excellent is all I can say for my service, breakfasts, view, noise, and comfort for my month, so I booked it for next year already.
I went for a sports event, the perfect place to rest, prepare food, and clean, well located, beautiful place to go everywhere and they have a central brother hotel where you can get an excellent breakfast, and the employees charming people.
This hotel was in a perfect location to restaurants, shops, and the pier where our dive boat picked us up. The room was large; we had a kitchenette and balcony. Since we were divers, the tile flooring was perfect, and we used the gallery for our wetsuits. There was a lower spigot in the shower which made rinsing things easier.
